Who WE Are?

The question is often asked as to who qualifies to be an Alumnus of Kagumo.

Anyone who schooled at Kagumo from its inception in 1933 is automatically a member of the Kagumo Alumni.

However, the Kagumo Old Boys Association (KOBA) is the official structured and recognized body that coordinates the affairs of the old boys.

One becomes a member of KOBA by paying:

  1. Annual and renewable subscription the lowest being Kshs 500/- for Chipukizi category or Kshs 2000/- for Bronze category.
  2. A life member

Silver – 10,000/-  Upgradable Upwards

Gold – 50,000/- Upgradable Upwards

Diamond – 100,000/-

The members of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees offer their services on voluntary basis without any payment. They normally meet outside the official office hours since they are busy in their daily personal professional and business occupations. However, there is usually a KOBA office assistant who deals with the secretariat daily activities including contacting the Old Boys as directed by the KOBA Executive Committee.
